About me
Okay, my novel finally got published! “Broken Collar” is about a catholic priest who struggles with human desires in his steel-mill village. Available at: www.bottomdogpress.com; or www.amazon.com
I love to write and travel. My wife, Mare and I venture to many places around the world. Traveling enriches our lives in ways that we do not understand…
The story of our West African adventure is complete. Then we travel with our dog, Jack and live under our truck cap, making our way from Phoenix, AZ through Vancouver BC, to Haines, Alaska. We visit relatives, mooch off of friends, camp, and grab a motel here and there. This adventure drive lasts about three months.
We have no reservations…after returning from a trek to the top of Mt. Roraima, Venezuela, as well as Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, we get the call to volunteer as Camp Ground Hosts in Haines, Alaska. Check out our awesome posts about remote living experiences in a cabin w/out running water or electricity, on the Chilkat Inlet, across from two glaciers (With Jack the dog of course). We greet visitors from around the world who travel to our cabin’s deck for fantastic views.
Currently, we are rediscovering the beaches in Mexico, from Puerto Penasco, and Zihuatanejo, to Puerto Escondido (Where I am polishing my novel).
We invite you to take a view.

Yes you both have been places that have a lot of history. Living without the comforts, even Garfield had running water with backed up johns but hey it was also a challenge. I’m glad you both appear to be quite at home as well as Jack. Your last blog was June 18th so have I missed new ones? I will have a cold one for both of today as the temp reaches 108 and then 113 for the next few days. Have a great adventure talk to you soon. Dom

Thank you…Happy Trails to you too!
